Hundreds of homes across Co Armagh are without electricity this morning following strong winds overnight.

As Storm Hector – as officially named by Met Eireann – moves in forecasters have warned that gusts up to 70mph will be possible from 4am-9am today, with an amber warning in place – however, Armagh will not be one of the worst affected.
Translink has also warned that major disruption to services is expected to due to debris.
Police have issued a list of roads currently blocked, which include the Armagh Road, Dungannon; Moyallen Road, Gilford; and Battleford Road, Benburb.
Road partially blocked but passable with care: Gilford Road, Lurgan (at Gibsons Hill); Plantation Rd, Gilford; Monaghan Road, Middletown.
There are also reports of a trampoline blowing about Ballymore Road in Tandragee.
PSNI Banbridge said: “In addition to the Moyallan Road we now have reports of blockages on the Moy Road near Trainors and the Battleford Road. There are reports coming in thick and fast so please exercise caution as we have had one member of the public collide with a fallen tree that we were in attendance at. Thankfully they are all safe and well.”
