Nathan Carter fans will still get to see their idol in Armagh – but they will have to wait longer than expected.
The Liverpool-born singer had been due to play at the Armagh City Hotel on Saturday, March 26.
But he announced on Saturday via social media that the show would not be going ahead on that date, claiming a ‘booking error’ by the venue.
The hotel had dismissed this and were insistent that the show had been booked in good faith.
This afternoon confirmation was given that the Irish country music star’s gig would now take place later in the year, on Friday, August 5.
This, the hotel reported, was “due to unforeseen circumstances”.
It revealed the rearranged date via its Facebook page saying tickets were still valid for the rescheduled date, but a full refund was available from the hotel reception for those whom it did not suit.
“We sincerely apologise to all our customers who may be affected by this,” the hotel’s social media post added.
