Armagh and Newry continue to rank among the worst areas of Northern Ireland for on-street parking fines.
Belfast, as expected, leads the way with 11,040 over the first three months of 2018, while Newry comes in second with 1,724.
Armagh managed to make the top five once again with 795 tickets issued over a 90 day period – at a rate of almost nine tickets a day issued.
Derry/Londonderry and Lisburn come in at three and four respectively.
However, Portadown saw more tickets issued (515) than Lurgan – the third worst in the county – on 373.
Elsewhere, Banbridge had 268 tickets slapped on cars, with Moira next in line with 67.
Keady and Markethill had 17 between them while Richhill managed one ticket despite parking attendants no longer operating in the village.
A department for Infrastructure spokesperson said: “The aim of parking and bus lane enforcement is to reduce the number of vehicles illegally parked on our roads or driving in bus lanes or other bus priority measures.
“This in turn reduces traffic congestion and helps traffic to flow more freely, assists delivery vehicles, allows buses to keep to their timetable and improves bus journey times, improves road safety and provides accessibility for all road users, including Blue Badge holders.
“The enforcement of on-street limited waiting and pay and display spaces, Park and Ride charged car parks and Council operated car parks also encourages a turnover of parking spaces, giving shoppers and visitors more opportunities to find suitable parking.
