Armagh-based knitting group, Nit & Natters is proud to announce a brand new Christmas-themed fundraising event for all the family… including four-legged fur babies!
On Saturday, December 13, the crafty, fundraising group – started by Lily McMullan – will host their inaugural Deck the Paws event at Armagh Cricket Club on the Mall.
All furry friends are invited to the festive celebration with special prizes for the best dressed. Pets and humans alike are encouraged to wear Christmas jumpers, hats, tinsel or festive collars – the more creative the better!
For just £15 attendees will be given a ‘Pawtrait’ opportunity with Santa Paws, puppacinos, personalised gifts and a festive goody bag.
There will be mulled wine, mince pies, doggy stalls, tea and coffee, face painting and much, much more.
Prizes even include a very special spa day… for the pups – not the people!
The event – which will be Nit & Natters’ finale fundraiser of the year – will run from 12 noon until 5pm. Spaces can be reserved by contacting Nit & Natters via their Faceboook page here.
All proceeds will go towards local breast cancer charity, Pretty in Pink.
Deputy Lord Mayor, Jessica Johnston recently met with Nit & Natters and Judith from Pretty in Pink to officially launch Deck the Paws.
The Deputy Lord Mayor also recently hosted a 12-hour Spinathon in aid of the charity.
