One person is in a critical condition in hospital following a serious collision on the Monaghan Road in Armagh on Thursday morning.
Emergency services were called to the scene, close to the Umgola turn-off, at 6.45am.
A NI Ambulance Service spokesperson said two emergency ambulances were tasked to the scene. HEMS also attended by
car.
“Following assessment and initial treatment at the scene, one person was taken to Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast, by ambulance.”
Armagh Sinn Féin councillor said: “Thinking of those involved in this morning’s RTC on the Monaghan Road in our prayers.
Our thoughts are with them and with their families at this very difficult time.”
The road is expected to remain closed for some time.
