
One person has been taken to hospital following a two-vehicle collision in Armagh this morning (Wednesday).
The crash, which occurred on the Moy Road close to Spires Retail Park shortly before 8.45am, is understood to have involved a motorcycle and a lorry.
Police have advised motorists to expect delays in the area while the incident is being dealt with.
A spokesperson for the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS) said: “We received a 999 call at 8.42am following reports of a road traffic collision in the Moy Road area of Armagh. NIAS dispatched one emergency ambulance and a rapid response paramedic to the scene.
“Following assessment and initial treatment, one person was taken to Craigavon Area Hospital by ambulance.”
Motorists are advised to avoid the area where possible and seek alternative routes while emergency services remain at the scene.
