Farmers and spectators from as as far as Dublin and Donegal will be taking part in the annual Livingstone Tractor Run this Christmas.
The organisers of the annual event are hoping this year’s event will exceed 2016’s record-breaking turnout.
Cedric Livingstone is hoping for even more support when the big event gets underway on Saturday, December 30.
“We are in the final stages of planning with just over a week before the event,” said Mr Livingstone.
“Everyone has been great to date providing sponsorship, promoting and assisting with the event.
“We hope the local community and those from further afield come along on Sat 30th Dec to Armagh Business Park for the tractor running for 10am for the midday start.
“We’ve tractors coming from as far as Donegal, Newtownstewart, Omagh, Belfast and As far as Dublin. It should be a great turnout, so be sure to come along and support this great charity event for the Southern Area Hospice and NI Children’s Hospice.”
Some 712 tractors took place in last year’s mammoth fundraising effort.
This year, Mr Livingstone hopes to make that 800 – which should make it a record for any tractor run held in Ireland, north or south.
