Personalise your gifts with Krafty Keepsakes in Armagh this Christmas

'Everything is bespoke and tailored to you. We can personalise pretty much anything somebody wants'

What started off as a hobby after leaving school, turned into a business opportunity for Krafty Keepsakes owner, Latisha Bayrajee.

Originally designing personalised products for friends and family, the 27-year-old quickly realised her creative passion could be something she could make a living from.

The opening of Latisha’s first shop on October 19, located in Scotch Street’s Arcade, was a significant milestone for the Armagh woman who previously operated from home.

When she’s not in her workshop using her artistic skills to craft bespoke pieces Latisha is a busy mum to two girls, Daniella (4) and Arianna (2) who Latisha says, “inspire her product ideas”.

Latisha said: “The unique thing about the business is everything is personalised for you.

“When my girls where younger I always found it difficult to find somewhere which offered personalisation and I think it’s an extra special touch to gift someone.

“It shows that you have really put thought into their gift.”

What started off as seasonal work turned into an all year round business venture by introducing personalised baby lines, homeware, personalised trainers and clothing.

“Before I started customising trainers, I remember searching for some for my girls online and the prices where so high which is what initially sparked the idea to try and offer customers high quality pieces at an affordable price,” continued Latisha.

Customers can browse and place orders from the shop which Latisha also uses as her workspace.

Along with placing orders in store, orders can also be placed through Shopify, Facebook, Instagram, Ebay and Amazon.

Added Latisha: “I am constantly thinking everyday of gaps in the market and what my next creation will be.

“Everything is bespoke and tailored to you. We can personalise pretty much anything somebody wants.”

And with Armagh winning the All Ireland Senior Football Championship in July 2024, Latisha took this to her advantage creating custom products to commemorate the achievement.

Products include custom plates, trainers, trophies, teddy bears and much more with the win creating Latisha’s busiest business boom.
