Philip White Tyres are the proud event sponsor for a fight night in aid of the recovery and treatment of two young Armagh ‘warriors’ this Saturday night.
The highly-respected Armagh family firm has got behind the event – taking place in the Madden Community Center – which aims to raise money for 11-year-old Theo Smyth and three-year-old Frankie Rooney, who were both diagnosed with leukaemia earlier this year.
The event is being run by Armagh boxing coach Sean Duffy who knows the young boys’ parents personally and was only too happy to help.
Liam White, Director at Philip White Tyres, said: “The event that Sean is organising is a fantastic night that unites the local community for the aid of the two Armagh Warriors, Theo and Frankie.
“As a local business, we never hesitated in supporting the boxing event and we wish Sean and the D-Boxing Team every success on the night and best wishes to Theo and Frankie as they continue their treatment.”
Sean added: “We are delighted to have Philip White Tyres on board as the main sponsor for our Night of Boxing in aid of the two Armagh Warriors. Tickets still available at the gym and we hope to packed and enjoyable night at the Madden Community Centre on Saturday.”
‘A Night of Boxing in aid of Armagh’s two warriors’ will take place in Madden Community Centre on November 26, and ticket sales and donations can be made via D-Box Promotions on both Facebook and Instagram.
