Police believe a car found at Lonsdale Road in Armagh had been involved in two road traffic collisions within minutes before being abandoned.
And they have appealed for witnesses to come forward.
A number of collisions were reported in the Armagh area on Monday afternoon, which are believed to have involved a black Vauxhall Vectra car.
Detective Sergeant Jordan said: “We believe this car was involved in two separate road traffic collisions within the space of less than 10 minutes.
“The first took place just before 3.30pm and involved two vehicles near the police station on the Newry Road.
“At 3.35pm, the Vauxhall Vectra was involved in a collision with a further two vehicles at the junction of the Newry Road / Friary Road.
“Fortunately none of the occupants of the cars damaged in these incidents were seriously hurt. One motorist has been treated for minor injuries but did not require hospital treatment.
“The vehicle was found abandoned at Lonsdale Gardens later on Monday afternoon.
“Anyone who has dashcam footage or witnessed the movements of the black Vauxhall Vectra or any of these collisions between 3pm and 3.45pm on Monday 11 June – or was affected by them and has not already spoken to police – should contact us on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 898 of 11/6/18.”
Police have confirmed that a 19-year-old man has already appeared in court today (Wednesday) charged with a number of offences relating to these incidents.
