Police have been called in after the appearance of anti-Islam stickers in Armagh city.
They were pasted in the Folly area of the city and provide email contact details for the organisation.
The stickers – from the neo-Nazi group Combat 18 – have been attached to lamp posts and carry the words ‘No Islamic takeover’.
Their appearance was reported by a resident of the Folly who contacted Alliance Party’s Jackie Coade.
She condemned those responsible and appealed for information to be passed on to police.
The Alliance representative said: “This type of intimidation will not be tolerated in our city. I have reported the incident to the PSNI.
“I am appealing to everyone, if you have seen anyone putting these on lamp posts, please contact myself or the PSNI on 101.”
Combat 18 was blamed for causing damage to two cars and a house in nearby Orangefield Drive almost four years ago by daubing a swastika and the initials ‘C18’ in black paint.
The police at that time said: “No one has the right to intimidate or threaten any member of our community and we will not tolerate hate crime in any shape or form.”
