Newry was the most prolific area for traffic wardens in Northern Ireland, outside Belfast.
A total of 5,090 on-street penalty charge notices (PCNs) have been handed out to motorists since the beginning of the year.
Armagh ranks in at fifth, behind Londonderry/Derry and Lisburn with a total of 2,251 PCNs issued in that time.
Portadown had 1,514 issued while Lurgan saw 1,024 handed out to motorists.
The Department for Infrastructure has today published statistics from January through to September.
A total of 24,303 PCNs were issued in Northern Ireland of which just over two-fifths (43%) were issued in Belfast.
In terms of off-street PCNs, the Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council area ranked in at third with 3,037 while neighbouring Newry, Mourne and Down came seventh with a total of 2,497.
