A man has drowned in Benburb, according to Sinn Fein.
Fermanagh and South Tyrone MP Michelle Gildernew offered her condolences to the family.
It is understood the tragedy happened in the village this afternoon (Saturday).
Ms Gildernew said her thoughts and prayers are with the family of the deceased.
She called upon people to exercise extreme caution near waterways, such as rivers, particularly during this prolonged period of hot weather.
