A yellow weather warning for snow and ice has been issued for Co Armagh and right across Northern Ireland.
The Met Office say it will be in place between 3pm this afternoon and 11am tomorrow morning.
The snow is expected to hit hard around 6pm this evening (Tuesday) before another dusting around 10pm.
Temperatures are then expected to dip below freezing overnight, making roads treacherous for commuters early on Wednesday morning.
There will be some light snow showers tomorrow too, but it is expected to dry up by the afternoon.
Temperatures today will stay at around 3C but will feel more like -2C, dropping to 1C later on tonight but feeling more like -4C. Moving into Wednesday, temperatures will average at zero but feel more like -4C.
As is normal with bad weather, some roads and railways are likely to be affected with longer journey times by road, bus and train services.
