Some people are preparing for the cold snap by stocking up on home heating oil.
And thieves are doing likewise – by stocking up on someone else’s!
Police in Armagh today (Tuesday) issued an appeal for information after the theft of home heating oil from a house in the city.
It happened sometime overnight on Sunday/Monday morning.
Thieves targeted a property in the Ashley Park area of Armagh, just off the main Newry Road.
They have appealed to anyone with any information on the theft – or anyone who noticed anything suspicious in the area – to get in touch.
