Three women – dressed in hijabs and abayas – stole what was described as a “significant amount” of alcohol from a shop in Armagh.
Mullans Spar, at Monaghan Road, shared video footage and photographs via social media.
The store, appealing for information, said it had lost hundreds of pounds worth of alcohol in the incident over the weekend.
The three – who were carrying shopping baskets in-store when caught on camera – left the premises in a car bearing registration plates issued in Kilkenny.
“They are well organised and clearly professional in what they’re doing,” according to the popular Armagh-based retailer.
“They are targeting local businesses who employ local people, contribute to the local economy and are trying to do an honest day’s work.
“These scumbags need brought to justice because they offer nothing to our community.”
Police in Armagh, meanwhile, are appealing for information and witnesses following the report of the theft from the off-licence at the Monaghan Road outlet.
Sergeant Bigger told Armagh I: “It was reported that at around 12:50pm on Saturday, January 25, three women exited a blue coloured car and entered the premises at Monaghan Road, and put bottles of alcohol into a bag, before leaving the premises.
“We are investigating the circumstances of this incident, and would appeal to anyone who might have witnessed what happened, or who has any mobile phone or dash cam footage, to get in touch.
“The number to call is 101, quoting reference number 702 of 30/01/25.”
