Three men have been arrested after several house searches this morning (Thursday).
The arrests were made by police investigating the displaying of material likely to stir racial hatred in Armagh and Newry.
The searches were carried out in the Armagh and Coalisland areas.
The men, aged 31, 38 and 47, have been arrested as a result of an investigation following reports of anti-Islamic material being displayed in the Armagh area, which was reported to police on June 21, and the discovery of material in Newry on June 21.
All three are currently assisting Police with their enquiries.
Several offensive posters were spotted in McCrum’s Court, with more at Market Street and Thomas Street.
