Three people have been taken to hospital following a serious road traffic collision on the Armagh Road near Moy on Saturday night.
Emergency services were called to the scene shortly after 10.20pm.
The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS) said it received a 999 call at 10.23pm on Saturday, February 21.
The road remains closed in both directions between the Charlemont Roundabout and the Lisbofin Road junction while police and other emergency services deal with the incident. Diversions are in place at the Lisbofin Road and Collegelands Road.
A PSNI spokesperson said the Armagh Road is expected to remain closed for a “significant period of time” and has urged motorists to avoid the area and seek an alternative route. Drivers are advised to allow extra time for their journeys and follow local diversions where in place.
In a statement, NIAS said: “The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service received a 999 call at 22:23 on Saturday, February 21, following reports of a serious road traffic collision on Armagh Road, Moy.
“NIAS dispatched three Rapid Response Paramedics, seven Emergency Crews, one HART Crew, an Ambulance Officer and an Ambulance Doctor to the incident.
“Following assessment and initial treatment at the scene, two patients were taken to Craigavon Area Hospital and another to Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast.”
