Police, working with colleagues from DAERA in the Armagh area, made a number of detections in relation to rural crime on Monday.
Two men were arrested on suspicion of theft and handling stolen livestock after a vehicle towing a trailer was stopped.
The vehicle and trailer were seized.
Two searches have also subsequently been carried out, and a number of items were taken away for further examination.
The two men have since been released on bail pending further enquiries.
Inspector Leslie Badger said: “Enquiries are ongoing, however, we are keen to hear from anyone who can help with our enquiries.
“We are particularly keen for information in relation to four Fresian bullock calves found in the seized trailer. The number to call is 101 quoting reference number 1159 of 27.2.17.”
