Unique chance to win a framed artwork at The Market Place, Armagh

Visitors to the exhibition can enter a free draw to win a limited edition framed print of 'On This Hill' worth over £700.

The Market Place Theatre in Armagh is proud to be hosting the 25-year retrospective exhibition ‘Equal’, a collection of works by local artist Kevin McAleenan.

Born in Banbridge, Kevin graduated from the University of Ulster in 1985 with a BA in Art and Design. After 15 years as a successful illustrator, he sought a more personal outlet and began painting. These selected works capture moments from his last 25 years as a professional artist.

“It’s an emotional response to Ireland and beyond, everything has its place, cloud, gable end, window, street sign, figure-all of equal value to the eye-all worth seeing”.

As part of the exhibition, Kevin has painted a stunning new large-scale work of Armagh, titled ‘On This Hill’.

Visitors to the exhibition can enter a free draw to win a limited edition framed print of ‘On This Hill’ worth over £700. Kevin has hand numbered, titled and signed the giclée print and it has been professionally framed with specialist art glass to minimise reflections.

For a chance to win this stunning piece, you can visit Kevin’s exhibition at The Market Place Theatre and Art Centre, Armagh between 14 November 2025 and 10 January 2026 and enter the draw.

In addition, there are ten copies of a limited-edition hand signed poster to give away each week to the first ten visitors to the exhibition. Prints will be allocated one per group.
