A woman who allegedly attacked a number of cars with a hammer on Friday afternoon is due to appear at a special court sitting in Lisburn later this morning (Saturday).
Police investigating the report of criminal damage caused to vehicles in the Georges Street area of the city on charged the 43-year-old this morning.
She is charged with possessing an offensive weapon in a public place, three counts of criminal damage and two counts of common assault and is expected to appear before Lisburn Magistrates Court, via videolink from custody.
As is usual procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
