The hospitality industry as a whole are beginning to complete their Christmas calendars with a whole host of festive entertainment line-ups and Basil Sheils, Tassagh are no exception; paving the way in their party night preparations.
With countless Christmases under their belt Basil Sheils have the festive period down to a fine art. Their no-nonsense Christmas Lunch Menu features traditional favourites such as hearty cream of vegetable soup to start, turkey and ham with all the trimmings and a boozy Bailey’s cheesecake to complete.
In typical Basil Sheils form, they have something for all diners; plating-up delicious vegetarian Christmas Lunch options, as well as, a seasonal pan-fried salmon for those of a pescatarian proclivity.
The Christmas Lunch Menu can be availed of from 1pm until 4pm on the following set dates:
- Friday December 16
- Wednesday December 21
- Thursday December 22
- Friday December 23
Lunch is priced at three courses for £24.95 per person and tables must be reserved in advance to avoid disappointment.
If lunch is too low-key for your liking the country-based restaurant have a December dinner and dance line-up to suit evening parties large and small.
The Christmas Party Menu is in the same style as the Christmas Lunch with similar gastronomic delights. Each evening presents a new live entertainer to kick start the celebrations with after-dinner music.

- Friday December 9, live music with Bryan Mullen, dinner priced at £29.95 per person.
- Saturday December 10, live music with Black Diamond, dinner priced at £34.95 per person.
- Friday December 16, live music with Under the Tree, dinner priced at £29.95 per person.
- Saturday December 17, live music with Black Diamond, dinner priced at £34.95 per person.
