Around 300 sheep have been saved from the scene of a major fire at Banbridge.
Over 40 firefighters and six fire appliances have spent the night at a farm at Cascum Road, in Banbridge.
The alarm was raised at around 9pm last night (Thursday).
The operation centred on a hay shed at a farm near the Boulevard shopping venue.
NIFRS dispatched their animal rescue team from Newcastle and 300 sheep were brought to safety.
A telehandler was employed to remove burning hay in a bid to brick the fire under control.
Fire crews have been working through the night.
In an update this morning (Friday), an NIFRS spokesperson said: “Operations will continue for some time.”
