The A1 dual-carriageway has been closed overnight following a fatal road traffic accident late on Wednesday.
The road remains closed this morning and cars travelling northbound are being diverted via Dromore and Donacloney.
The incident happened on the stretch of road between Banbridge and Dromore.
It is understood the southbound carriage has also been closed with diversions via Lurgan.
Vehicle recovery is ongoing this morning.
It remains unclear how many vehicles, or people, were involved in the collision on Wednesday.
