A man has been arrested by detectives investigating the attempted murder of a 40-year-old man, who was shot by a masked man in a Banbridge car park on Friday, April 12.
The 34-year-old suspect presented himself to police earlier today (Monday) and will be questioned on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder.
Speaking on Friday, Detective Sergeant Stewart, from the Police Service’s Serious Crime Branch, said: “A man, aged in his 40s, who was shot in his abdomen by a masked man in a car park on Friday, April 12 remains in hospital at this time.
“His condition is unchanged – critical, but stable.”
