A new virtual reality arcade could be opening in the borough.
There are plans for the facility to open at Dromore.
An application has been submitted for a property at Church Street.
The proposal is for a change of use from a hairdressing and beauty salon to a virtual reality arcade.
Among the features will be virtual reality pods, racing simulation and a LAN play area.
There will also be waiting areas, kitchen, service area and unisex toilet provision.
The premises would be known as VARCON with the promise of ‘Immersive Virtual Gaming’.
Papers submitted with the application indicate the creation of a number of new jobs at the new arcade.
The proposals have been submitted to Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council.
They are due to be publicly advertised next week with a decision expected within the coming months.
