Firefighters had to be called to the scene after a car went on fire on the A1.
It happened on the Belfast-bound lane just past Wilson’ Salvage yard at Dromore.
The vehicle – which is now on the hard shoulder – has been completely gutted.
Fire crews have now extinguished the blaze.
Motorists are advised that traffic in the area is slow moving as a result of the operation.
