Police in Co Down are appealing for witnesses following an attack on a Children’s Play Park in Dromore.
The mindless attack which occurred sometime between May 5 and 9 saw damage caused to one of the slides in the park.
The play park located on the Banbridge Road in the town received a massive £250,000 investment officially opening in May 2o21 and offers a wide range of fun and play for families of children up to 14 years.
A spokesperson for the PSNI said: “This cherished space, where children laugh, play and make lasting memories has been vandalised and the slide left in disarray.
“We urge anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has any information related to the criminal damage to please contact police on 101 and quote Police reference number 776 of 15th May 2023.”
