A man has been found dead in Banbridge following a suspected drugs overdose.
The man was discovered earlier this morning (Saturday).
DUP MLA Doug Beattie, speaking to Armagh I, said: “Again we see how the scourge of drugs in our towns wrecks lives and destroys communities.
“It is devastating for a family to have been thrown into this turmoil today.
“Our sympathy is with the family of this man as they navigate through the next number of days and weeks.
“We must all work together to see this taken off the streets.”
A post-mortem will be carried out to determine cause of death.
There are no further details at this stage.
