A post mortem is due to be carried out after the discovery of a man’s body at a house in Banbridge this weekend.
Officers were summoned to the property early yesterday.
A PSNI spokesperson told Armagh I : “Police attended the scene of the sudden death of a man in the Railway Street area of Banbridge on Saturday 21st January.
“A post mortem examination will be carried out in due course to determine the cause of death.”
Meanwhile, detectives in Lurgan have charged a 33-year-old man with a number of drugs related offences following the search of a house in Banbridge yesterday (Saturday).
These include possession of a class A drug, possession of a class C drug, possession of a class C drug with intent to supply and supplying a class C drug.
He is due to appear at Newry Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (Monday), January 23.
As is normal procedure all charges are reviewed by the PPS.
The charges followed the arrest of a man following the search of a house in the Limewood area of Banbridge.
