There has been a road traffic accident near Banbridge this evening.
Emergency services are currently at the scene on the Lurgan Road area.
There has been a 1 vehicle RTC on the Lurgan Rd in Banbridge.
The road is likely to be closed both ways and motorists should avoid it.

Police have confirmed that the incident involves just the one vehicle. The condition of the person/s in the vehicle is unclear at this stage.
The road has been closed in both directions.
Motorists have been advised to avoid the area and that the road is likely to remain closed for a period.
Diversions will be put in place.
