Tributes to ‘beautiful and bubbly’ Banbridge woman after courageous battle with breast cancer

Tributes have been paid to a “bright and bubbly” Banbridge woman who sadly lost her battle with breast cancer this week.

Pamela Robb, of Summerhill, passed away peacefully on Thursday, at the Southern Area Hospice, in the presence of husband Aaron and mother Alex.

Pamela’s heartbroken, and former colleagues at Karen Flowers in Banbridge, led tributes to a friend they described as “a breath of fresh air”.

“Yesterday was another very sad and emotional day for us at Karen Flowers,” the post on social media read.

“After a very long and courageous battle with breast cancer we lost our beautiful Pamela.

“We had the pleasure of this bright and bubbly girl join us some years ago, and what a breath of fresh air she brought with her. An absolute joy to train and work with.

“I’m sure all our customers will remember her bubbly personality and her attention to detail.

“Pamela left Karen flowers a few years ago to follow her other passion, ‘Pamela’s Pencil Portraits’.

“Pamela was so amazingly talented at this as well; there were no ends to her talents. True to form at busy times in the shop Pamela always came back to help us old dears out. Pamela you will forever be in our hearts. We are truly heartbroken, as are so many. Rest In Peace you shining star x.”

Others also paid their own special tributes to a woman held in high regard by many; a lady whose artistic talents were well renowned.

One woman commented: “I’m devastated to hear of Pamela’s passing; such a beautiful young woman inside and out, who fought her illness courageously.”

Another added: “Pamela was such a kind and wonderful person always smiling, it was a honour to know her.”

One woman described Pamela as “an amazing girl,” adding, “with talent I have never seen anywhere else, she captured animals at their best.”

Pamela, the beloved and cherished wife of Aaron, precious daughter of Alex and Clive; Also, a treasured granddaughter of Tom and Naomi, devoted daughter-in-law of Liz and Norman and a much loved sister-in-law of Neil, wife Dawn, Naomi and Hayley and a dearest Auntie Pamela of Henry.
