Two men have been remanded in custody until next month after a serious assault in Banbridge on Friday.
Twenty-year-old Michael Loughlin, from Iveagh Close in the town, was charged with attempted murder.
A man in his 40s remain in hospital after he was attacked in the Scarva Walk around at around 4pm on Friday.
The accused has also been charged with assault on police, theft and criminal damage.
A co-accused faces charges of theft and causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
He is 22-year-old Shay Leonard, of Willow Avenue in Banbridge.
Both men appeared at Banbridge Magistrates’ Court, sitting in Newry, where they were remanded in custody.
They are due back in court on August 18.
