Three people have been arrested in Banbridge in connection with a number of fraud-related offences.
Officers from Lurgan District Support Team, assisted by colleagues from the Local Policing Team in Lurgan, arrested the suspects earlier today, Tuesday.
Sergeant McCullough said: “A man, aged 29, and two women aged 27 and 47, were arrested following planned searches of properties in the Banbridge area earlier.
“A number of items were seized, including a quantity of suspected Class B drugs, and have been taken away for further examination.
“All three were arrested on suspicion of offences, including fraud by false representation and later released on bail pending further police enquiries.
“Our enquiries are continuing, and there are no further details at this time. “
The arrests follow the report of fraud at commercial premises in the Banbridge area on Tuesday, September 4.
