Burglar entered through a bedroom window

A thief made off with bank cards and money after being disturbed as he burgled a county Armagh home over the weekend.

Detectives are appealing for information following the report of a burglary at a house located in the Church Rock area of Camlough.

It was reported that between the 10pm and 10.30pm on Saturday, June 24, a male described as being in his 30s, of a slim build, with dark hair and wearing a denim jacket gained entry to a house in the Church Rock area of Camlough via a bedroom window.

The male suspect was then disturbed by the home owners and made off with several bank cards and a sum of money.

The home owners were not injured as a result of the break in but were left badly shaken.

“Or, alternatively if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.
