Police have confirmed that the sudden death of a man in Bessbrook is not being treated as suspicious.
The man has been named locally as 27-year-old Ryan Sims.
Emergency services were tasked to the scene of the incident just off the Green Road on Wednesday afternoon.
The young man was pronounced dead at the scene.
A police spokesperson said: “A post mortem has been completed to establish the cause of death and police are now waiting on toxicology results.
“No arrests have been made and at this time the death is not being treated as suspicious.”
Earlier this week police had also appealed for people to refrain from circulating images online out of respect for the family.
