Young at Heart Bessbrook is delighted to announce it has been awarded a National Lottery grant of £8,565.00 from The National Lottery Community Fund.
This vital funding will be used to directly support the charity’s core mission: enhancing the quality of life for older people within the Bessbrook community and surrounding areas.
In line with its official charitable aims, the group will utilise the grant to combat social isolation, promote physical and mental well-being, and provide engaging recreational and leisure opportunities for its members.
For senior citizens, maintaining social connections and staying active is paramount to long-term health. This funding ensures that Young at Heart Bessbrook can continue to offer a safe, welcoming, and vibrant environment where local seniors can meet, share experiences, and enjoy a variety of tailored activities.
