A teenager required hospital treatment after he was assaulted by five men in Tandragee, Co Armagh, during the early hours of Sunday morning.
The 16-year-old male was kicked and punched and had to be taken to hospital for facial injuries.
His assailants were wearing band uniforms and the incident took place at 2am on the Portadown Road, opposite a primary school.
One of the assailants is described as being approximately 5ft 10in tall, of heavy build and has brown hair.
