Police in Armagh are appealing for information following a burglary that occurred in the Killylea Road area of Armagh on the afternoon of Friday 30 January.
Sergeant Gwyn said: “Sometime between 1.30pm and 2pm, a house was broken into. The burglar or burglars were disturbed by the homeowners returning home. A silver BMW 3 Series was seen driving away from the house.
“It is believed that this may be linked to another burglary that occurred in the Ballyrath Road area. Sometime between noon and 1.45pm a house was broken into.
“Anyone with any information about either of these burglaries, or the silver BMW, is asked to contact Armagh Police Station on the non emergency number 101. Or if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
At this time police are still trying to ascertained what was taken in either of the burglaries.
One of the victims contacted Armagh I and has urged vigilance after laptops, an iPad and other smaller items were taken from her house.
