A blue Toyota Avensis was stolen from outside a house in Armagh sometime overnight, in the latest in a string of ‘creeper’ style burglaries in the area.
Police in Armagh are appealing for information following the theft, which happened at Callanbridge Road.
Sergeant Allen Beattie, Armagh NPT, confirmed: “It appears that entry was gained to a house and the car keys taken, resulting in the theft of the Toyota.
“I am asking anyone who has information in relation to this incident to contact us in Armagh on the 101 number. If you prefer to provide information without giving your details you can contact the independent Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
This latest creeper burglary follows similar thefts in recent weeks in Armagh City, Middletown and Forkhill.
The public again are urged to be vigilant.
