A caravan reported stolen in Worcestershire in England has turned up in County Armagh.
Officers were in patrol in Legahory when they observed a Swift Challenger caravan.
It was recovered by police and a 17-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of theft.
He was later released on bail pending further enquiries.
It’s just one incident of note for police in Portadown, Craigavon and Lurgan over recent days.
Police in Craigavon also charged two people with theft after being called to a local supermarket shortly before 4pm on Sunday, March 1.
A 40-year-old female and 42-year-old male were arrested and a vehicle was also seized and stolen goods recovered.
The pair were charged to appear before Craigavon Magistrates’ Court on March 25.
As is normal procedure, the charges will be reviewed by the PPS.
Elsewhere, police in Portadown have seized two vehicles for no insurance during proactive patrols.
On Friday, February 27, a white Citroen DS3 was stopped in Tavanagh Avenue and found to have no insurance. The vehicle was seized.
During a patrol later in the day, officers stopped a white Skoda Fabia in Meadow lane. This vehicle was also found to have no insurance and was seized by police.
Meanwhile, in Lurgan, police arrested a man following an assault.
On Sunday, March 1, around 3.20am, police received a report of man being assaulted in Silverwood Green.
Officers attended and found that a 24-year-old man had been assaulted by another man with a golf club.
The victim sustained facial and head injuries which required medical treatment.
Officers who attended arrested a 35-year-old man for GBH with intent and possession of an offensive weapon.
He was later released on bail pending further enquiries.
