Community turns out in full force for Armagh Tak£500+ event!

The community turned out in full force to ABC Council’s Tak£500+ Market Stall and Decision Making event last weekend in Armagh.

Local groups showcased their amazing project ideas to the crowds who then had a chance to vote for their favourites!

Those with the most votes will then receive up to £1000 to bring their project to life.

Over 150 applications from community groups have been received this year for the TAK£500+ Participatory Budget Fund.

This project has been growing over the last four years and making real and lasting impact on our residents right across the borough – and this year is shaping up to be even bigger and better.

Communities from right across every corner of the borough have put forward ideas they think will have a positive impact on their area – and are now in the running to receive up to £1000 to fund their project.

Results will be announced when all events are complete.

The next event takes place this Saturday 5 July, 2pm to 5pm in South Lake Leisure Centre. Come along and check out all the projects within the Craigavon area and vote for your favourite. See you there.
