Staff on Ward 3 North enjoyed a special event to celebrate their hard work in recent months.
Previously Craigavon Area Hospital’s temporary COVID-19 ward, 3 North has been transformed into a permanent general medical ward.
The busy team of clinical, administration and domestic service staff are now providing inpatient care for adult patients with a range of medical conditions.
Over the past five months, staff on 3 North have worked incredibly hard to establish and develop their general medical ward and have achieved excellence in a number of professional nursing standards and nursing quality indicators.
The team have recently enjoyed a celebration event and received certificates of achievements from Lisa Houlihan, Interim Assistant Director for Nursing and Specialist Medicine for Medicine and Unscheduled Care.
Lisa said: “The 3 North team have shown remarkable commitment and great positivity in rebuilding their ward and they should be very proud of all that they have achieved.”
