Businesses from across the Borough will be given a unique opportunity to find new customers across the globe through a free competition being run by the council.
ABC council is funding fast-track access to overseas markets for 50 lucky local businesses through Overseas Results, an innovative online system which takes care of the difficult first steps involved in exporting.
The 50 winners will be able to visit www.overseasresults.com and select any country in the world where they would like to find customers. The winning businesses enter details of the product or service they are promoting, and Overseas Results will identify and contact 12 customers on their behalf.
All customer contact is completed by Overseas Results using in-country executives in the destination countries and any translation required is included for free. A full report with all customer contact details will be forwarded within three weeks of the start date.
This service, which would usually cost around £500 per company, will potentially give each business access to thousands of pounds worth of overseas sales in a fast and efficient way.
To apply you must be an existing business paying rates in Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough, with current domestic sales of the product or service you wish to promote overseas.
Lord Mayor of Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon, Councillor Garath Keating is encouraging local businesses to enter the competition: “Council is committed to growing the local economy and supporting our local companies to export into new markets. This fantastic opportunity is part of our wider programme of support to develop export opportunities, so I’d urge all businesses who have ever thought about exporting to enter this competition.”
John Magee, Chief Executive Officer of Overseas Results Limited also commented: “We invite entries from businesses of any size and from any sector. This is the ideal opportunity to find out what an overseas market thinks of your product or service. There is not a faster, more effective way of exploring new markets.”
To enter the competition visit www.overseasresults.com/abc-competition. Closing date for entries is midnight on 30th November 2016 and the winners will be drawn randomly within 7 days. Full competition terms and conditions are available on the competition entry form online.
