Splash into spring with the reopening of South Lake Watersports. With a spring clean complete, the lake is refreshed for the new season and everything is ready for you to dive back in!
Celebrate the Easter buzz and drop the kids off at the Easter Tuesday activity day (April 7) where they can unleash their inner Robin Hood at archery, hop aboard and take to the lake in a rafted canoe, get creative with arts and crafts and cheer on the rubber ducks as they quack their way to the finish line in the annual duck race (prizes included)!
The drop-off multi-activity extravaganza day (8 April) also includes a mix of wet and dry activities designed to excite and challenge kids 8-16 years! If they’re game for some skill-building, tests and mini-missions, in and out of the water, this is for them!
Let the kids put their Easter holiday energy towards new skills and friendships with the multi-sports camp at South Lake Leisure Centre (8-10 April)! There’ll be plenty of eggs-ercise with running, dodging, tagging and ball games to keep kids moving, socialising and winning!
Learn to bloom this spring by learning something new!
Get learning with family archery and junior paddle courses, delivered by qualified PUK/PNI Instructors (3-10 April). Learn to shoot a bow and perfect your aim with a ‘learn to shoot’ archery course for families. Juniors (8-15 years) can hop on a board and enjoy a whole new way to explore the water with a ‘learn to paddle/kayak’ course!
Both courses are free to getactiveabc single, family and corporate members!
Spring is also a great time to explore Craigavon Lakes! Take your pick between foot, wheel or board and hire a bike, inclusive bicycle, kayak or paddleboard (also free to getactiveabc single, family and corporate members)!
