A Co Armagh man accused of indecent assault against a male over 20 years ago will face Crown Court proceedings next month.
The 49-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared at Craigavon Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday charged with four counts of indecent assault on a male.
It was heard that these were alleged to have occurred between April 10, 1995 and June, 2003.
Prosecution stated that based on the papers before the court it had been found that there was a prima facie case to answer.
Neither the defence counsel or the defendant made any comment.
He was released on his own bail of £500 to appear before Craigavon Crown Court on June 25 for arraignment.
District Judge Bernie Kelly imposed conditions which banned the defendant from having any contact with the alleged injured party or any prosecution witnesses in the case.
