Judge Kelly countered this by saying there were other means of contact such as “call, Skype or WhatsApp”.
A constable informed the judge that an alcohol ban along with a curfew were sought as they were relevant to the alleged offence.
Ward was granted his own bail of £250, to reside at the offered address in Belfast.
He was told he was not to take any alcohol or drugs and was subject to a curfew between 8pm and 6am.
The defendant was also told he was not to enter co. Armagh saves for attending court.
The case will continue for an update on October 19.
