The security alert in Craigavon is over.
A suspicious object was examined and was found to be “nothing untoward”, according to the PSNI.
The alert was sparked this morning after a police patrol discovered the item on the footpath between Lakeview Court and Lismara at around 10.40am.
A cordon was put in place and a number of residents evacuated.
They have now been allowed to return to their homes.
