Brace yourselves folks….winter is coming!
We start the week in typically miserable fashion with downpours of rain likely through the entire day across the county.
As we go into the night we will see some intervals and occasional showers, some heavy and blustery at first.
Cloudier by morning with some patchy rain, with winds easing. Minimum Temperature 5 °C.
The entire county will be hit with snow, especially over higher ground as it turns much colder during Wednesday and Thursday.
It will be very windy with frequent wintry showers, significant snowfall in places especially around south and mid-Armagh from later Wednesday, and drifting over higher ground.
With a few months of winter remaining, it looks like it could be a bleak one so wrap up well and be careful on the roads this week.
