The funeral for a man found dead in his Crossmaglen home earlier this month will take place on Wednesday morning.
Michael McConville, who was aged 74, was discovered in the bathroom of the property on the Annaghmare Road on June 15.
He had suffered fatal injuries.
Malachy Quinn, from the same road, has been charged with his murder.
The 67-year-old suspect appeared in court for the first time last week. His defence team did not lodge an application for bail and accordingly, District Judge Eamon King remanded Quinn into custody and adjourned the case to July 17.
Meanwhile, funeral details for Mr McConville were released this week.
He is predeceased by his beloved parents, Lily and Patrick McConville.
Michael will repose at McConville’s Funeral Home, O’Fiaich Square this evening (Tuesday).
WAKE visiting times 6-9pm.
His funeral will take place on Wednesday, June 26, leaving McConville’s at 10.45am to St Patrick’s Church, Crossmaglen arriving for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.
Deeply regretted by his extended family the McDonnells, Donaghys & Lambes, also by his many neighbours and friends in Annaghmare. Enquiries to McConville Funeral Directors Crossmaglen.
